South Carolina Women and Girls for Hillary Launches with Support of 400 Women Representing All 46 Counties

Demonstrating the enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton’s agenda among women, South Carolina Women and Girls for Hillary launched today with the support of 400 women across the state including leaders in each of South Carolina’s 46 counties. Women and Girls for Hillary have already been campaigning across the Palmetto State discussing why Clinton is the candidate who will fight for them as President.

“We still have more work to do to make sure women earn equal pay and workers don’t have to choose between keeping their jobs and caring for their families. We still have work to do to encourage women leaders in every field to help get more women elected to office and to ensure that all ages, all races, all income levels are treated with the dignity that every citizen deserves,” said Hillary Clinton while launching Women for Hillary on Saturday. “If we women stand together and fight together, we can make our country stronger, we can make our country fairer, we can give our children and grandchildren the brighter futures that they deserve.”

Women and Girls for Hillary includes three dozen former and current State Legislators, local elected officials, and Democratic Party officers. Members of Women and Girls for Hillary have signed up to join Clinton’s grassroots campaign and have committed to taking action such as phone banking, canvassing, letter writing or hosting a grassroots organizing event. Supporters can sign up to be a part of the growing list of South Carolina Women and Girls for Hillary here.

Here’s why women across South Carolina are supporting Hillary:

“Hillary’s career has been spent cracking the glass ceiling and working on issues important to women and their families. She’s an inspiration to women and girls everywhere and the leader we need in the White House,” said Greenville Vice Mayor Pro Tem & City Councilwoman, Lillian Brock Flemming.

Very impressed with all of her campaign. Gowdy was their best shot and it failed.

Thanks for sharing.

Every time they come out the other side of rw garbage even more popular. People seem to forget how long months are in politics and media. The timing isn't as bad as some think.
