MoveOn.Org Vows To Go Ahead With Rafalca Campaign
Count progressive group MoveOn among the Democratic allies who do not consider the Romney familys dressage horse off-limits. The DNC briefly tried to make the horse, Rafalca, an issue Wednesday before abandoning the attack after complaints from Ann Romney, who said training dressage horses is part of her recovery from MS.
Asked about its specific Rafalca plans, the group told TPM stay tuned. But MoveOn made it clear that it feels the Romneys reportedly $100,000 horse is fair game.
The Romneys dancing Olympic horse gets better health care than many Americansand Mitt Romney is campaigning to take away peoples health care. If Mitt Romney wants to argue that his horse deserves $77,000 of care and feeding but many hard working Americans should be left without any health coverage, thats a debate were happy to have, said MoveOn spokesperson Nick Berning. And if he wants wealthy horse owners like himself to get more tax privileges, and for teachers and firefighters to be laid off to pay for it, were going to point that out. Bottom line: Mitt Romney is running on a platform of raiding the middle class to transfer wealth to the 1%, and were going to call him on it.

Don't let it slide! $77,000 for the care and feeding of a horse while children are going to bed hungry and many are without healthcare just infuriates me.
I say Ann's horse is fair game.
