2. I don't think so. Hillary Clinton is a woman.

She's over-balancing an entire pile of Republicans. That's gravitas. Nothing sexist about it. She will win if she is the nominee.

4. Wouldn't it be better to have them counter-balanced on economics and war too?

She's good (OK, only fair) on social issues, but she mirrors the Republicans on fracking, Keystone, Wall Street, H1B Visas and going to war.

we don't need to discuss no stinking economic justice issues and U.S Imperialism and empire building. Who needs to discuss that when we can rely and focus on personalities, symbolism, and tokenism as political solutions. Haven't you heard Scuba...capitalism, war for profit, and economic inequality are "human nature and will always be with us."

12. Your contention is that other Democratic candidates lack the gravitas

to tip that scale? Seriously? You find Huckabee to have more gravitas than say O'Malley? Christie than Sanders?
Frankly being better than the other side of that see-saw is a trait common to all of our candidates, even the ones who used to be Republicans, even the ones I don't want to vote for at all are better than the Republicans.
