when Greg Kinnear is done with him in the 2016 HBO release, his legacy on that score will be tarnished in the eyes of a new generation who were too young to remember just how he misused his chairmanship.

I urge you to go to YOUTUBE and have a good, hard look at his posturing. No friend to women, he.

He and Mrs. Scooter Libby, his staffer, made sure that Clarence would end up on the Supreme Court by trashing a graceful and intelligent woman and concealing the corroberation of her testimony.

There are many, many, MANY people who, when reminded of that, will not treat him kindly.

Anita is alive, well, and garnering honors at Brandeis. She'll have something to say too, I should imagine.

He put Thomas in that justice's robe just as surely as if he'd dressed him and patted him on the head and sent him over to the court, personally.

18. I agree he did a disservice to her and the public. But the entire Senate were clueless about sexual

harassment. Clarance Thomas lied, that should never be 'forgiven' like it was and still is today. I wish there was a way to get him off the SC.

Anyway, if Biden wins the D primary I'm sure that will be just one of the things used against him by the republicans.

19. No, they were not clueless. They thought they could get away with ignoring half their constituency.

They discovered to their great dismay that they were mistaken. I remember women being outraged, no, LIVID, at the way Hill was treated. And, as I said, it didn't get better with time.

That business--and a few other things (the stolen Neil Kinnock speech, the confabulations in his early years, his health issues) will be used relentlessly against him, and hay will be made while the sun shines. No one wanted to vote for him for POTUS the last two times, I can't imagine what he thinks has changed. He's a great helper, but he's not Top Dog material.
