I live in Indiana so I have two of the top 10 worthless POS reps in the country...
"Thank you for contacting me regarding your support of the Supreme Court's decision in NFIB v. Sebelius. I regret that we do not agree on this issue, I hope in the future we can find other areas in which we do agree. I issued the following statement below on June 28, 2012, and would like to share it with you:
"I am deeply disappointed in the Supreme Court's decision to uphold ObamaCare. This ruling erodes the freedom of every American, opening the door for the federal government to legislate, regulate, and mandate nearly every aspect of our daily lives under the guise of its taxing power.
"Today's decision affirms a massive tax increase on Hoosiers and is wholly inconsistent with the principles of personal responsibility and limited government that are enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. Congress must act immediately to fully repeal ObamaCare and protect Hoosier families, small businesses and family farms from its tax increases and mandates.
"If ObamaCare is not repealed in full, Hoosiers will face higher health care costs and increased taxes. It is estimated that the ObamaCare tax on medical devices will cost Indiana more than 2,000 jobs in the medical device sector. While the changes in the punitive measures included in ObamaCare appear to give Indiana more options, that is small compensation for higher taxes and a government mandate that reduces the freedom of every Hoosier.
"This national debate is far from over. Indiana and other states need the freedom and flexibility to develop health care solutions that best meet the needs of our citizens, without interference from Washington. We must face our challenges in health care with the belief in more freedom, not more government.
"The Supreme Court may have had its say on the last Thursday in June, but the American people will have their say on the first Tuesday in November."
Again, thank you for contacting me. It is an honor to serve in the United States House of Representatives and have the benefit of your advice. Warmest regards,

Then there is the 'former' lobbying fuck stick...Dan Coats :vomit:
Put Politics Aside and Debate Tax Reform
If Congress doesnt act by the end of the year, Americans will be faced with massive tax increases. This week President Obama announced a plan to extend the current rates for some Americans, but his proposal will hike taxes on nearly one million small businesses. The National Federation of Independent Businesses reported that a quarter of the American workforce is employed by businesses that will be affected by this misguided proposal.
I am opposed to this tax hike on small businesses for the same reason President Obama opposed it two years ago: its a bad idea to increase taxes on Americans in a struggling economy.
In 2010, President Obama signed a two-year extension of all existing tax rates and stated that raising taxes "would have been a blow to our economy." At that time, the economy was growing at 3.1 percent. Today the economy is weaker and growing at an even slower 2 percent rate. Why does President Obama think now is a good time to raise taxes when our economy is in worse shape?
The presidents change in position is a desperate political move by an administration out-of-touch with the struggles faced by our nations job creators. Rather than play politics, the administration should focus on working with Congress on pro-growth economic policies that will provide long-term stability. Comprehensive tax reform is one of the best ways to grow the economy, create more American jobs and make our country more competitive in the global marketplace.
This week, I joined with Senate Republicans to offer an alternative proposal to the presidents flawed tax plan. Our proposal would protect families and job creators by extending the current tax rates to all Americans for one year and putting in place measures that would force Congress to begin work on reforming our nations outdated tax system. Unfortunately, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) blocked debate on both the presidents plan and the Republican alternative plan. I spoke on the Senate floor calling on the Senate Majority Leader to allow debate on this critical issue that impacts every Hoosier. Members of Congress on both sides of the aisle should have the opportunity to discuss and debate these two visions of how to revive our economy.
