... former executive, Mark B. Wolpow, says: ''I reported directly to Mitt Romney ... ''

-snip-

And a former executive, Mark B. Wolpow, says:

“I reported directly to Mitt Romney . . . You can’t be CEO of Bain Capital and say, `I really don’t know what my guys were doing,’” Mr. Wolpow said of Mr. Romney role at the company during his leave.

I think "Baingate" is ready for primetime. Considering Romney is going on air on a Friday night to combat this is very interesting.

I think it was John Kenneth Galbraith who said that there are few people who earn more for doing less than corporate CEO's.

If, and that is a big IF, the SEC begins an investigation those who attempting to protect him will be in jeopardy of committing perjury especially in view that one former executive has already contradicted this claim. I have little doubt that they would not hesitate to throw him under the bus if the are threatened. Romney may have made the most serious blunder of his life.

Since all of this is coming out now, there is yet time to bring someone else into the light as a possibility.
I still think Jeb is being framed as the 'reasonable' one. (Liz C. as a running mate?)

We don't want a knockout until they confirm he's their guy. I have a feeling the heavy guns will come out after the racist hatefest known as the Republican Convention.
