2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy is the MSM ignoring the Bain story?
I just visted the websites for CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, the NY Times and Washington Post. The Romney/Bain story is either not there or buried far down on the homepage. On the CNN site, the story is being framed in the context of Cutter's remark not on Romney's conflicting statements. Does this finally explode the myth of the liberal media?

(14,255 posts)Nothing will ever explode that myth.
It is part of the Official Red Meat Package, which evidently also contains some sort of mind-altering drug.
Or maybe Faux has one of those twirling hypnotic circle things that only conservatives can see, spinning away on the TV screen.
In this case, I am fully expecting the "liberal" MSM to go ahead and condemn Obama for attacking Bain stuff, no matter what is revealed by tax returns or whatever.
Mitt is the very picture of smirking entitlement, and I feel sure that he is just pissed that people are daring to question him.
I am very skeered of what the next rough beast slouching towards (or out of) the Tampa convention center will look like, if the Bain thing undoes Mitt.
The GOP feels quite strongly that their desired end justifies any nasty means they choose to use. A bit difficult to counteract that.

(971 posts)Because they aren't driving the narrative. MSNBC though is doing a tremendous job exposing Mitt and his lies. FuxNews on the other hand won't touch this. Neal Cavuto led off his 4PM broadcast with a non story about more Democrats bailing out on Obama

(308 posts)CNN has become increasingly pro-Romney lately from what I can tell.
Anderson Cooper, John King and even David Gergen have all been trying to downplay Romney's shady history with Bain Capital this week.
