Yes I was with Bain when I wanted to claim residency, but when I wanted to distance myself from my outsourcing of jobs I hadn't been with them since 1999, see perfectly clear, no contradictions and I didn't lie to the SEC, just the voters of Massachusetts.

don't know if he will be successful. I guess we won't know until we hear what he has to say and if what he says is "legitimate". Whatever he says will no doubt sound good on the surface but will it hold under further scrutiny?

He could say I did what my legal advisors told me to do. The Obama campaign is just desperate to create a scandal where none exists. We need to focus on the real problems like the economy and jobs.

That might be enough to satisfy some people but if he did do what it appears he did then there might be some legal complications for him and Bain. Then it wont matter what he says tonight.

I can't imagine that his attorneys would allow him to get himself in an "illegal" situation as he's running for POTUS. For that reason, I doubt that Romney has done anything illegal. But, ya never know.

8. There is probably a grey area here that's borderline legitimate.

Its close enough to being illegal that it needs further scrutiny. I suspect the SEC will be investigating.

He won't answer many questions and instead divert attention to Obama and use this to reinforce some of his talking points. If the media interviewing him is good, they won't allow him to duck the questions. But that's never a given, so...

Ultimately, Romney has to be careful because he does get agitated quite quickly. That can hurt.

just like that lady in the Hamptons said.
The man behind the curtain is waiting to be seen and the real Mitt will show sooner or later.
