In order to pay back debt, you first have to spend less than you take in, then apply the difference to the debt. Works just like a loan or credit card.

Agreed. Everyone needs to be taxed fairly. Flat tax... The more you make the more you pay.

Last year the Treasury took in %113 of the tax revenue that they took in during the highest Clinton surplus year. Why no surplus last year? Ding-ding-ding. It is the spending that is out of control.
