Other than I've never seen a Trooper that out of shape. Young guy too.

69 in a 55, thought it was at least 60. I was explaining to our daughter what the guy did wrong -passed on a solid line with a state trooper coming the other way, way too close for the pass too- that had gotten pulled over a mile back. Explained this to our trooper (really, turned around to give me basically a 4 MPH over ticket???) but to no avail.

I did - for something I didn't do. a Gore violation - fought it to the final hearing and easily got it dismissed.

At first when I received the ticket - Gore violation - did I violate Al Gore somewhere? I had to literally look it up.

A Gore apparently is that white line near the exit that increases wider when the exit is closer. Except in my case, I was inside the exit lane, nowhere near that white line. Cop didn't even bother to show up for the final hearing, and it was dismissed to improper legal process (letter arrived uncertified - was supposed to be certified)

I am sick of the vitriol. It is enough to drive people away as it did for me for a month.

I used to be nicer and the viriol against Hillary made me a bit more jaded.

I put 90 people on ignore last night because i need a break from the vitriol against Hillary last night. I will likely add more.

I do this from time to time but since i gave up hosting in groups here I think i migyt stick with it for more th a n a few days.

I am sorry but if I don't do this I will either snap more at people or just leave DU again.

And no I am not going to respond to did you put me on ignore posts.

I feel much the same about the vitriol against Sanders supporters.

I don't use the ignore feature much; only when I feel like I need a time-out from a poster to keep my head in a better place, but I trash threads constantly, and I use the auto-hide feature to trash a bunch before they even show up.

Somewhere on my FB feed this morning I saw this:

“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness. Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.” - Maya Angelou

It spoke to me.

I know I will never forget. I know the hate speech going on here is too much for me. Yes, inferring the same false things about people everyday is a form of hatred. It is what the right does. It's what is done here. Hatred is the word, straight up.
