Why isn't Obama agressively promoting Obamacare?

To me, Obamacare is a winning issue if people understand what it's about. As long as Obama doesn't argue for it, the Republicans will continue to argue against it to the point that Obama's signature achievement will be viewed as a failure by people. Why isn't he doing more to promote it?

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/07/11/why-won-t-obama-sell-his-health-care-plan-now-that-it-s-been-upheld.html

Simplicity is the key, says Melody Miller, Ted Kennedy’s spokeswoman for much of his long crusade for health-care reform. She proposes an ad with two hands, one that ticks off finger by finger five reasons to support the law; the other a fist that unfolds to reveal “Obamacare, health-care security for all,” written on the palm. “The truth” about Obamacare, says a narrator: (1) can’t be denied coverage for preexisting conditions; (2) no cap, you won’t get cut off or lose your home if you have costly medical bills; (3) reduces the deficit, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office; (4) you can keep children on until age 26; (5) you can keep your own doctor and choose your own coverage from a variety of plans, just like members of Congress.

I agree that it needs to be a sustained campaign but, judging from recent poll numbers, the public does seems to be coming around on it since the SCOTUS ruling

to do that. We are the beneficiaries of the ACA-We are the ones who'll "pay" if it's repealed-so Maybe We should actively preserve it.

Here's a way-Call DC Congress/Senate menbers-yes even those who don't representyou. How else will they really know how "the American People" feel?

The lack of understanding - no, outright misunderstanding of the act is legion. We should become informed and be educating every chance we get.

Most polls have him leading at present, and when you're leading it isn't such a bad strategy to "keep one's powder dry" so to speak.

This would be a great help down ticket when the congressional races heat up in late summer/fall. You know, "We passed it, and they've wasted 31 (32 by then? 33?) votes trying to repeal it" sounds like a good tag line to take into those races.

Meanwhile, people are out there promoting the good points, and more and more people are experiencing the benefits every day.

The Corporate Media is NOT showing his speeches, nor are they showing him going from town to town, city to city, to educated people about what's in the ACA.

Where the fuck are the Democrats? He cannot do this by himself!

Why do people expect this guy to be superman?!?!?

We have a job to do. The Democrats have a job to do. Let's get it done!!

Wake up!!

Focusing on it now would only put Obama on the defensive. His campaign has done a phenomenal job of changing the subject and putting enormous pressure and attention on Romney in only TWO WEEKS. That's some serious skills.

His campaign needs to start putting out some powerful ads explaining the best and most accepted elements of the plan--such as people thru 26 on parents health--closing of drug donut hole for seniors--and, to me most powerful of all: no refusal of health insurance for people with pre-existing conditions.

He may mention it in all his speeches but the campagin needs to be using some more powerful media messaging for this issue.

I'm simply not seeing any of this in Colorado media. I can only assume it is this way in other swing states where the ads are coming fast and furious. I accept the wisdom of showing in ads Romney's background but Obama needs to get some more positive stuff for himself out there in these campaign ads. Health reform is something totally positive but it has got to be constantly communicated.
