The Clinton campaign in a nutshell

Primary - Clinton runs to the left to secure the nomination. Her supporters tout her liberal evolution. Of course the trick is talk the talk without actually committing to any lefty positions the republicans could use against her in the GE. This would explain her reluctance to take a hard stand on many polarizing issues.

GE - Having secured the nomination, Clinton runs to the right to mop up. Her supporters forget about her "evolution" and tout her pragmatism. She returns to her natural, default neoliberal state.

If her campaign doesn't self-destruct, I think that's how it will play out.

Thanks for your 'reading'. Oh, can you tell me if I'm going to win the Lottery? Should I buy a ticket?

And, you shouldn't be wasting your money at the Lottery, but that's not psychic...it's well-founded opinion.

It requires some level of fact based analysis and I don't see that here. This opinion is less about historical precedent and more about feelings. Feelings about a person that you are trying to present in an unfavorable light.

I base my support on what I see in the 3 Dimensional World and I'm very confident that she will be the nominee. But, I could be wrong. I doubt it, but there is always that possibility.

If others can't make predictions without you snarkily calling them "psychics" then your predictions should also be snarkily dismissed as "psychic".

Until then I will stand by my position that this is nothing more than a negative opinion based on personal feelings.

It's been that way for decades.

You have to get to be nominee so you -must- appeal to a majority of the base. This cycle, the base seems much more toward the traditional left. The successful candidates will all run lefter than usual.

But you also have to get a majority in the GE so campaigns move toward the middle, which for dems is obviously back toward the right from their primary position.

It's a theme that even ran across a handful of episodes of West Wing

You can't win the lottery if you don't buy a ticket and Hillary will run to the left but won't stay there. Just common sense.

to poor turnout by the Democrats, knowing that many in the Democratic Party are unenthusiastic about her, knowing that many Americans absolutely hate her and fearing that Trump will be her opponent, I don't think she would be our best candidate.

Run to your base in the primary. Run to the middle in the general. Nothing earthshaking there.
