You're partly correct. OH and VA means Obama wins, but not sure about "a lot of flexibility". Dawgs Jul 2012 #14

Then add the Voter Purge by the Alien Governor, it is very, very worrisome. I constantly wonder if my vote as a Dem even counted last time.

It sucks. But no candidate really ever wins by a comfortable margin.

Obama won it by 2.8% in '08
Bush won it by 5% in '04
Bush 'won' it by .1% in '00
Clinton won it by 5.8 in '96
Bush won it by 1.89 in '92

That's an average margin of just 3.1 over the last five elections. It's going to be close, no matter who's running. Clinton and Bush are the only ones who won it by a fairly okay margin and even 5% is pretty close.

We are being drowned in "Earned A Say" ads sponsored by AARP. While I will be eligible for Medicare myself next year, I am thoroughly disgusted by the self involved elderly who think they are entitled to a million of dollars of health care because they paid in $65K of medicare taxes. The average Medicare recipient will use benefits totaling $175K and that was in 2011...costs keep going up.

Rusmussen polls always favor the Republicans. I don't try to adjust the margin of error, I just pretend it isn't there.

Florida is not a must-have. As long as OH and VA are good, Obama has a lot of flexibility.

As I said in my original post, Rasmussen numbers are not to be trusted at face value because of their in-house bias towards the Republicans.

However, they are useful to examine in that if they only show a slight lead for Romney, that means he is probably actually behind. Therefore, the purpose of reading a Rasmussen poll is to get a sense of what the true numbers may be.

I'd like to know where Assmussen had McCain vs. Obama in FL on July 12, 2008. We won FL that year. Let's win again!
