in the US in such a derogatory term. He is not fit to be President except for his empire where he can hire and fire people at his will. He is not Presidential material at all.

I get that the American people are tired of the Bushes and the Clintons but Hilary would be 100% better than trump. I really want VP Biden to run.

They cannot come to terms with reality or real life. I think reality shows need to get rid of. It is dumbing down people. Can you imagine looking at a housewife show or the fucking kardashians and feel it is real. That is the dumbing down of America and Canada too. Most likely, the whole world which access to those shit shows.

People do not think anymore. You have an asshole like trump going on tv bashing health care and folks believe that idiot. Even though, thousands of Americans have benefited from Health Care and ACA.

And what pisses me off is that CNN and MSNBC has this asshole trump all the time. Who you think the idiots will believe?

CNN and MSNBC is covering trump! He is not only obnoxious but totally not even ready to be President. Can you imagine him going up against Mrs. Clinton. She will wipe his ass clean and tell him to go back and fire people on his TV show. Piece a shit gaining momentum and Americans backing this dipshit.

minorities will vote for a Republican. Republicans even hate white people who are poor, they expect the poor to pull themselves up with their boot straps, never understood how that works.

Mind you, looking at CNN, there seems to be a few Latinos who love Trump, but they are in the media. I wonder in real life, how many Latinos would vote for him.

Who don't believe the Republicans are talking about them.

It's that person over there ----------> that Republicans are talking about.

Close to 40 years after Reagan's speech in Philadelphia Mississippi - the mantra of 'welfare queen' and what that looks like has become embedded in that certain segment. They also tend to be people of the lie and paranoid about 'the other'.

Opposition to immigration in the name of the rights and economic position of citizens. Labor unions have taken those positions in the past, I believe. Campaigning against "politics as usual." I personally think that it's likely that many people view Trump as more honest than most political candidates and, with his assertiveness, perhaps more likely to get things done (what "things" those might be). I also think that many people think most politicians are rather unethical individuals, taken to lying - I could see many people viewing Trump as ethical by comparison. That's not my personal view. I have no idea whether or not he's saying what he intends to do.

I can imagine Trump becoming president. I find it unlikely. At the same time, I can imagine it.

at least temporarily.

Characteristics of bircherites:
Very conservative.
Anti-establishment.
Extremely nationalistic and pro aggressive, violent international policies.
Very anti-compromise, tending to interpret as weakness and betrayal.
Anti-communist, of course.
Prone to interpreting events they don't like in terms of malignant conspiracies.
Strong fundamental religion in many members, none in others.
Very ethonocentric. Always very anti-immigration and strongly and actively biased against far more groups than not.
Very anti-government. "Small government" was a Bircher rallying cry long before most of today's Americans were born. There's a heavy anti-regulation, libertarian strain in bircherism. "We have to get off the backs of business."

Any of this sound familiar? Try laying this template over today's right-of-moderate conservatives. Or checking out today's energized JBS web site.

Trump may not be the right leader for this very frustrated and angry crowd of reactionaries, but of all the candidates his irresponsible statements come closest to speaking for them. And they're roaring back their excited approval. It'll be interesting to see how far Trump will go to hold onto their support, to keep them from turning on him. They're VERY good at that!

Why? who knows. Possibly they were raised by abusive parents and believe that the way Trump acts is what a "real man" is supposed to be like. That bullying is strength.

Perhaps some of them see themselves in him.

I don't think most of the people expressing them realize that behind them are real movements that would destroy our democracy. They just support "a little religion" in government as a good thing. They are very opposed to fascism. They know THAT's bad, just don't seem to realize just what it is as they promote fascist-leaning practices.

Bush, Junior followed by McCain/Palin followed by Romney followed by Trump.

Admittedly, Romney is not as intrinsically awful as Palin so the progression is not flawlessly linear but the overall pattern is easy to see, isn't it?

The GOP is dying out. We need to help the process along.
