but, I have one more. Why wait several days to let this be known? Ok, you are caught off guard so you verify, but that didn't take the whole weekend. He and his staff has been defending the investments stating they were legal and he didn't make one more dollar using them.

Someone needs to explain to Mittens that once you come up with a story you stick with it. You don't defend what you are doing then when you are not being believed say I didn't even know I had them.
