Lots more email headlines to come

I get that Hillary supporters believe that the entire email mess is bullshit. But what I don't get is the denial that she used poor judgment and the denial that this has damaged her, in no small part, due to her own decisions and actions. She's the one who decided to mingle state and personal. Didn't anyone tell her that that was a seriously bad idea, that it would, if nothing else, look bad? That it would look like she was trying to hide something. Vowing that she would never turn over the server was bad judgment. So was waiting months to do it.

This isn't going away. There are months of releases yet to come. There's the server and what the backup protocol was. There are more classified emails.

And no, I'm not happy.about this. Not even a little bit.

No shit. The media and the GOP along with Hillary's opponents on the left will beat the dead horse for as long as they can.

Unfortunately for them, this is just another Benghazi faux scandal which will be met with a collective yawn from the electorate when it comes time to vote.

President Obama could stop this whole thing today. I wish he would. Just pardon her for everything during her Secretary of State. Once the president did that everything grins to a halt and forgotten by next week.

“You have a legitimate question to ask and Secretary Clinton and her lawyers can answer it,” O’Malley said. “From my part as a candidate I intend to put out the ideas and the policies that make college more affordable for more people, that expand Social Security, that get wages to go up again for a majority of us who are working harder instead of down so that’s what I’m going to talk about … and I’ll leave you to ask Secretary Clinton those other questions.”

It is true that her actions have made it look like she might be trying to hide something, but I don't think that in itself is a good reason not to vote for her. Unless there is genuine evidence that she has been hiding something, this is just another "scandal" with no legs.

OMG! I just realized that I started a post with "I am a Bernie supporter but . . ." Now that looks bad!

So, you have turned the corner from happy to extreme jubilation? Good for you.

Because the media keeps talking about it! And this email 'mess' is a big deal to the media for the same reason: because the media keeps talking about it!

An ouroboros if ever there was one.

And we keep talking about it at DU because we keep talking about it at DU!

Even the appearance of impropriety can be a mill stone around the neck of a candidate. Hillary of all people should know this, given the bullshit she and her husband had to wade through during the Whitewater/Lewinsky character assassination campaign.

Because I am a security professional, I maintain that routing official State Department communications through a private server comprises a serious lack of judgement, both from a 'perception of wrongdoing' perspective as well as from a data security perspective - even if Colin Powell did it too.

I am surprised that Gowdy is so unethical. I thought that Issa was bad but Gowdy is proving to be even more unethical than Issa
