DREAMers

Why Latinos Should Vote for Bernie Sanders and Why He Needs Us
César Vargas
snip---
He's been consistently championing for issues that directly affect the Latino community.

He supports our DREAMers and undocumented workers.

He says immigrants "have been routinely cheated out of wages, held virtually captive by employers who have seized their documents, forced to live in unspeakably inhumane conditions and denied medical benefits for on-the-job injuries."
snip---
He champions for the middle class, the working class, the elderly, the infirm, and the poor.
He opposed war.
He wants to alleviate student debt and help your children attain an affordable education.
He's a candidate for all people.

You watch "Food Chains". Bernie is shown, standing up and fighting for farm workers in Florida fighting for higher wages.

Latinos love Bernie!

Unfortunately, in the game of scorched earth, one can lose many friends.

One of the most offensive things I have ever read here.

Some of Sanders supporters need to understand that things don't get done when standing alone.

Gutierrez, one of the Dream Acts strongest proponents, was trashed here by Sanders supporters simply because of an innocuous comment. Now its "look at this great quote."

I'm just not buying it anymore from his supporters.

6. Gutierrez didn't 'know who Bernie was, 'the Socialist, who doesn't like immigrants' lost

him all credibility regarding his own interest in the issue.

I love that Bernie refuses to do things like that to his opponents. Gutierrez could have used his microphone to promote the issue itself, but I guess politics is more important to him. His statement, 'I don't think he likes immigrants' lost him any credibility he ever had. Bernie's record of course destroyed Gutierrez' attempt at swift boating someone whose record is all he needs to demonstrate the deception in that false implication.

Never saw Bernie NOT take an opportunity to talk about important issues, rather than take a swipe at a colleague.

That is such a cut off my nose to spite my face thought process. It simply doesn't deserve a respectable reply. So much of your post is rubbish and shows you have no clue as to Gutierrez.

"Gutierrez could have used his microphone to promote the issue itself, but I guess politics is more important to him."

That is simply based somewhere other than reality.

11. Gutierrez' nasty swipe at someone he knew though pretended not to know, a deception that did

remove his credibility which was pointed out to him by Latinos all over Social Media so not just my opinion.

When people lie in order to gain some political advantage either for themselves or for someone they believe can advance their careers, sorry, but THEY do not deserve a 'respectable response'.

Bernie as usual, left them scrambling with the fallout from that awkward attempt to diminish him, and continued to do what he does, talk about the issues,

9. Was this the guy who early on, went out to talk about the Bernie that he has worked with...

That all of a sudden didn't know who the Socialist was?

It was a nasty interview...and then was followed by the Run Down Bernie, Claire interview?

10. Yes, same guy. It wasn't even a good 'act' as most people knew he knew Bernie, so as I said,

he blew his credibility as to what his priorities are. Bernie, otoh, continued to address the issues every chance he had and refused to go along with any media attempt to do what Gutierrez did.

He is so far above the fray, and his record is so good, he just keeps moving past them and leaves them scrambling behind him.
