HRC tweet flippantly "addresses" student load debt.

https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/631538115514007553

HRC Tweet: How does your student loan debt make you feel? Tell us in 3 emojis or less.

Hint HRC, a lot of people who are still paying off student loans are in their 30's 40's 50's and beyond. (and as noted in the locked version) a lot of Millennials can't even afford to go to college. Instead of a flippant one off, how about you ask a substantial adult question on the subject and maybe we all can have an grown up conversation?

Here is her bottom line:

1. "Under the New College Compact, no student should have to borrow to pay tuition at a public college."
"No student should have to borrow" Of course not. I am glad you understand that. But what is your plan to make that happen?

2. "Schools will have to control their costs and show more accountability to their students."
How do you propose to make them control costs? And showing accountability to their students is absurd.

3. "States will have to meet their obligation to invest in higher education."
Or what? Saying that states "will have to" means nothing. It is not a plan.

4. "The federal government will increase its investment in education," More specifics please. How will the federal government increase its investment in education and how will that help students?
" and (the government) won’t profit off student loans." NO ONE SHOULD PROFIT OFF OF STUDENT LOANS.
"And millions with student debt will be able to refinance it at lower rates." I assume you mean that you will support legislation to allow student debt to be refinanced?

There is no plan included in the above. Saying that states, schools, should do stuff, is't a plan.

from your link the actually 'wheat'

under the New College Compact, no student should have to borrow to pay tuition at a public college.
Schools will have to control their costs and show more accountability to their students.

States will have to meet their obligation to invest in higher education.

The federal government will increase its investment in education, and won’t profit off student loans.
And millions with student debt will be able to refinance it at lower rates.

That’s my plan. It’s ambitious — and we should be ambitious. But it’s also achievable. And it would make a big difference in people’s lives.

How stupid of him was it to do something like that.

It's like these politicians don't know how to interact with real people.

Real people don't use emojis.

If this is what people are latching onto for their vitriol, it's hilarious. It's a throw anything at the wall kind of approach.

Better hope Bernie's team never uses an emoji on twitter or other social media.

She ( or her Twitter intern) fell into the "less/fewer"'grammar trap.

If items or things (such as emojis) can be counted, use "fewer."

I make grammar messes all the time, but would hope my candidate models better behavior.

Flippant is being kind.

Does this come anywhere close to describing how a debt that is ruining your life actually makes you feel?

It wasn't flippant, it was asinine.

Just how low are our standards supposed to be for her? If JEB did this you, I and everyone else with common sense would be all over him for it. But because it is Hillary she gets a pass. The standards for her should be higher, not extremely lower.

Remember that it took over a week to come up with the "I didn't want to carry two phones" excuse for the private email server? Over A Week for that nonsense.

She still doesn't have a stance on TPP. Well actually, she seems to have three. Shouldn't her staff figure out where she needs to be on this so she can look like she isn't a political weather vane?

When asked about the Keystone XL pipeline she responds that she won't answer that question until she is President. Just WTF was that?

Now someone in her staff asks people to sum up their feelings about the debt that is ruining their life with 3 frowny faces or less?

She is a horrible candidate. If she wasn't, she would hire staff that isn't horrible.
