NEW SITE: Where does Bernie Sanders stand on the issues?

Interested in knowing exactly where Bernie stands on the major campaign issues? Then a new website, FeelTheBern.org may be worth a look.

The creators of FeelTheBern.org are regular people who individually, and now collectively, are inspired by Bernie Sanders’ campaign for presidency of the United States. We span the socioeconomic and political spectrums, and are located across the country— and globe!

We came together because we wanted to make clear his record on and plans to address the most important issues affecting our communities, nation, and planet. Bernie has an extensive record in public service, so this project turned into a rather monumental group effort that mobilized over 100 unpaid volunteers.

Our researchers, writers, editors, fact-checkers, designers, developers, and organizers have worked hard to create and share this resource. We endeavored to make every issue easy to understand by anyone curious enough to learn more, and to make sure every fact is linked to a legitimate outside source. Learn more about why political framing is so important, and how this has informed this site’s creation.

We’ll be updating the website throughout the campaign so that it includes the most accurate information. Please contact us with suggestions for edits and updates, or if you want to join our effort.

While this website is about Bernie Sanders, as he himself often says, this campaign isn’t about him — it’s about you.

I tend not to take anything on the web at face value.

I looked at various topics and was satisfied that what was written there was what I already knew but I have to admit I did not look at everything. I don't have the time right now to do so either. I checked out issues of National Security, Family, Education, Civil Rights and was pleased by not only the information but the lay-out.

Go check and see what you think, I probably should have said something in my post but did not. Sorry.

Why do I, as a potential voter have to go to this other website to find out the basic information about Sanders positions on important issues? Is this a trusted source when they don't even name who is running it, and what am I supposed to take away when they clearly state:

"The content on feelthebern.org is not a reflection of Senator Sanders, his office, or his campaign.
This website is made and maintained by volunteers with no relation to or association with Bernie Sanders."

It seems to be awful light on Bernie's history of standing up for civil rights and
"tackling structural inequality is at the heart of Bernie Sanders’ campaign." Really? that's a pretty tall order and is silent on the message Bernie has been speaking to.

I can't help but wonder if this will be used as nothing more than a tool against Bernie Sanders?
