My parents, who live in FL, just told me they're going to become Obama helpers (to spread the word

about how Obama's policies will help people) when they get back home to W. Palm Beach in August. They're in their 70s and they dance (and sing) all over FL. My father is the talker, so it'll mostly be him telling the older people about how the ACA will help them, but they'll both wear Obama T-shirts while dancing casually.

The reason is because he was talking to me about how, thanks to Obama, he's going to benefit with his health insurance and my oldest brother (51 yrs. old & in NJ) can retire in 3 yrs. and get insurance. He's a bus driver with a bad back. I told him he should become an "official" Obama supporter/worker & spread the word, and he said, "You know what? I'm gonna do it-I GOTTA do it. And I hate that guy Romney. He's so fake..." (paraphrased)

They'll be visiting me in NY for about 7 weeks first. Then they'll get to work.

(They'll first need & get some info. so they can know all the details, but they're gonna do it.)

People trust consumer Reports because they are non-partisan. They put together a brochure explaining the ACA provisions and timing of each one. I think the fact that it comes from a trusted source like Consumer Reports gives it credibility. After all, who hasn't used CR to check out ratings on cars or appliances etc.

from an expat living in Thailand and voting in California. It's so great that they get it. I wish they could talk to my sister and her husband (they live in Oregon). They love Medicar and they have children and grandchildren who will benefit from the ACA but they still don't get it and hate, hate, hate Obamacare.

sound off when confronted by folks who claim that the ACA will raise the deficit and is a "job destroyer," and other Republican talking points that are plain false. When talking to these people, we only have about 2 minutes--5 minutes TOPS--to convince them. Therefore the first link should do it, but there's additional information below:
