She doesn't have to have large rallies to prove anything. Those can come later. The election season is long enough.

That's not a fair criticism, but yes my example is anecdotal.

If that were the case though, why aren't you rejoicing, giving yourself a big old hug, instead of trying to goad?
Here are some of the millionaires she has met with, recently....and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

(135,425 posts)baiting editorializing is pure snarking, goading, or teasing.
It is information that the questioner can get, faster, by doing it him/herself.
That kind of stuff is just schoolyard-childish.

We've been told for weeks Bernie needs to win every vote. She doesn't have to?
Agschmid
(28,749 posts)But yes, you are correct they aren't that big, she hasn't needed to find new venues (that's the part that is borderline IMO).

(14,341 posts)Bernie is out there trying to establish name recognition. Hillary already has that, and I imagine that at this stage of the process she's concentrating her resources on her ground game.
They're running different campaigns with different strategies.

2. Claremont, to announce her affordable college plan.

Thanks for your concern regarding the campaign strategies. I'm pretty sure she has an inkling of how she wants to get her platform out.....which likely is 100% more diverse than Bernie's same old talking points. but he likes repetition so there is that.
Dawgs
(14,755 posts)And, he's been doing it for years.
Of course, you obviously know nothing about him when you accuse him of using "talking points".

(94,713 posts)Sorry if the candidate you don't support isn't running her campaign the way you want her to...
Dawgs
(14,755 posts)I thought the Democrats were better than that, but I guess now we know.
brooklynite
(94,713 posts)Besides, since we've been told that Bernie Sanders is shooting up in the polls, he'll be practically tied with her by the time the first debate occurs.
Won't he?
Dawgs
(14,755 posts)and actually get out and have campaign rallies.
And yes, he might be tied with her if they had debates and people actually found out that he exists.
jberryhill
(62,444 posts)Bernie's biggest challenges right now are:
1. Building name recognition - most people, who do not follow politics closely, would give you a blank stare if you asked "Who is Bernie Sanders?"
2. Building state organizations to turn out voters and caucus participants.
Hillary doesn't need either of those things. They are already in place.
There is not much that she is going to do, in terms of having rallies or anything else now, that is going to translate into a vote in February.
Right now, the GOP is doing a wonderful job of shooting itself in the foot. Other than to pop in once in a while and say "These are the Republicans, folks" there's not a whole lot of value in rallies.
