Planned Parenthood waaaay more popular than the Republican Party and Hillary knows it
by
Kerry Eleveld
Hardball with Chris Matthews graphic showing Planned Parenthood to have a 45 percent favorability rating, making it far more popular than the Republican Party and Donald Trump, among other things.
Look at the graphic from the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. 'Nuff said.
As the GOP hurls toward what they're sure is a winning issue for themshutting down the government to defund Planned ParenthoodHillary Clinton is capitalizing on their lunacy.
Hillary Clinton is making her position on Planned Parenthood very clear: She is in full support of the organization.
Im proud to stand with Planned Parenthood, Ill never stop fighting to protect the ability and right of every woman in this country to make her own health decisions, Clinton said in a video released Monday. [...]
If this feels like a full-on assault on womens health, thats because it is, Clinton said in the video. When politicians talk about defunding Planned Parenthood, theyre talking about blocking millions of women, men and young people from live-saving preventive care.
Unfortunately, these attacks arent new, theyre more of the same, weve seen them in Wisconsin where Gov. Walker defunded Planned Parenthood and left women across the state stranded with nowhere else to turn, Clinton said. Weve seen them in Florida where Jeb Bush funneled millions of taxpayer dollars into abstinence-only programs while gutting funds for crucial family planning programs. And weve seen them in Texas where Gov. Perry drastically cut funding for breast and cervical cancer screenings and then signed legislation that forced health centers across the state to close their doors.
When they attack womens health, they attack Americas health and its wrong and were not going to let them get away with it, she said.
