Update:
Protesters braved the rain, too. About 20 of them came out to picket the event, some crowding under a tent. But their numbers dwindled as the weather refused to cooperate.

(15,189 posts)Customized signs. LOL! You mean the misspelled signs that make no sense whatsoever. And yes we know ONLY Repukes work. I hope they get pictures of the "mob".

(15,383 posts)I know the Tea Party is on the fringes of the political party system, doesn't have the best funding, and any nutjob with a political axe to grind and a hatred of Obama will call themselves Tea Partiers, but they need to hand out pre-made signs - made them look hand-made, but spell-check them first.

(4,756 posts)Was essentially fired as the NH GOP Chair, because he was all about his teabagger buddies, and ignored everyone else. Oh, and he was an inept fundraiser. And he kept saying stupid stuff - so stupid even NH Republicans were embarrassed. Then the GOP lost a bunch of special elections - for which he blamed the Democrats. Dude knows how to take personal responsibility. Oh, and then he was caught on video with a petition that would allow the libertarian party on the ballot. His GOP bros didn't like that much.
In order to get fired as GOP chair in NH, you have to be a HUGE asshole.

(5,061 posts)Probably would have been it. The GOP will tolerate any number of things, including very embarassing things, but supporting the libertarian party is a deal-breaker.

(4,756 posts)the people of Obama's party are too timid to do any kind of counter demonstration. Being that this is NH, the story on the news tomorrow night will be all about the teabaggers. Once again the GOP seizes control of the message, while the other team stands around looking at the ball.

(25,699 posts)The story will ALWAYS be about the teabaggers. If a counter-demonstration shws up, they are either an insignificant blurb, or "dangerous rioters."

They're far too afraid. It's sad.

I got a nice George W. Bush Memorial Free Speech Zone for those morons -- or should I say MORANS-- about a half mile from the venue.
