Kindly stop trying to convince me otherwise.
Thanks.

Not troubled by police killings of people of color?
Don't think Citizens United should be overturned?
Or taxes raised on the wealthy?

Against cuts in green house gas emissions?

(53,032 posts)Or taking part in any threads that do? You wouldn't be insisting that people should not be allowed to disagree with you in anyway, would you, because that wouldn't seem very liberal or open minded.
Are you suggesting a gag rule, such as existed in congress and throughout the South in much of the 19th century?

(57,349 posts)She may have "evolved" but I can't trust her to know what the right thing is.
Bernie's record is much better on equal rights and he's no war hawk.

(9,086 posts)She's done pretty good at covering up her record on marriage by recently marketing herself as some kind of gay rights hero.
But she still hasn't figured out a way to run away from that Iraq war vote. It may bring her down and if so good.

(57,349 posts)It's insulting to ask people to forgive and forget about it.
She may have evolved but if she thought opposing equal rights for lgbt people and voting for the Iraq war were the right decisions at the time we have every right to question her judgment.
And proudly remind people that Bernie was right all along.
Some need to evolve while others just get it.
Cheese Sandwich
(9,086 posts)Just checking but when did people start evolving instead of just changing their minds?
Or who remembers flip flopping? That was another old way to say it.
beam me up scottie
(57,349 posts)It's not FAIR to bring up her opposition to lgbt rights.
Besides, it doesn't matter anymore because of the SCOTUS decision, etc.

(61 posts)Please don't post polls. Post facts instead. Convince me on why *I* should support Clinton. Right now, from what I know of Clinton, I have absolutely no interest in her, and nothing will change my mind. I am a donating supporter of Bernie Sanders, because I researched the issues, and right now, matches 97% of my issues that I care about, while Clinton matches about 63% (O'Malley was higher, if you had to know, from isidewith.com by 81%)
All I'm saying is that Clinton campaigning for a long time, everyone pretty much knows who Hillary is and what she really stands for. so most hasn't heard about Bernie, and all I'm saying is that if they know about Bernie and how much he represents them in their issues ranging from A-Z, then they'd choose the better candidate, and I believe that to be Bernie Sanders.
You don't want to alienate them either. Bernie Sanders supporters are the only best bet of keeping Clinton's hope alive if and only IF she succeeds in securing the nomination, to continue to vote for the Democratic nominee. I can tell you that most who have changed party registration to support Bernie will not back Clinton if she has given them no reason for the Sanders supporters to continue to vote. Thus, the Catch-22.
