I just received this email about three polls for the Democrats in three different states.

For those of you in these three states can you please share some information about why these polls may look this way-thanks.

The latest polls are the absolute worst we've seen in a long time:

Colorado Iowa Virginia
38 - 41 36 - 40 41 - 42
Democrats are falling behind in THREE critical swing states. Losing these states means losing Democratic legislators who would be able to counterattack Tea Party agendas in GOP-controlled state houses.

We're giving it everything we've got to fight back and hold Tea Party candidates accountable, but our message is being completely DROWNED OUT by the Koch money machine. If we don't make up this ground in the next three days, we will be too far behind to catch up.

Sincerely,
2016 Democratic Victory

Which races are they talking about, and are you sure this came from the Democratic Party? I'm wondering if it's a scam.

info. to send money to offset these bad poll numbers. I don't recall any literature or emails being signed with Democratic Victory before either.

What are these naked numbers supposed to represent?

And who is "2016 Democratic Victory"?

Couldn't find but two hits on Google, one of which I think linked back to here.

More "sky is falling" claptrap from the DNC. Has the money been given to the national party been effective? I would argue no. Give to individual candidates and to your local organizations. That's where your money will have the most impact on influencing the long term direction of the party.

Yeesh, that was a lame solicitation. Seriously, I've seen phishing scams with more polish.

to defend the DNC, but do you see any evidence of a connection?

Seems too cheesy, even for them.
