Fast and Furious in a parallel universe

What if this didn't cause the death of an agent but rather was successful?

Who would be taking credit? What would Issa say? What would have been said if the agent was killed in 2008?

It has been so politicized I don't know what to think. Is it time for an independent investigation?

They did fail on that, but they tried.

It doesn't matter one way or another. President Bart was involved at some level, so the Republicans of Rock Ridge absofuckinglutelyhateit!!!!!

These are the same assholes who started the conspiracy theory that F&F is somehow proof that Obama is going to take away the guns from white people and lock them in FEMA camps. I have a feeling that if this thing was successful, they'd have gone completely off the deep end, regardless of the fact that it's a Bush Administration baby.

Alex Jones cooked that one up shortly after Katrina. Other people have added their nonsense and tinfoil to it, but it's not new.

If you don't know who the hell Alex Jones is... you're not missing much.

Anyway, yeah. Either way this went the Republicans were going to use it as a bludgeon.

There was some coverage about this on other stations, but it seems like the other cable stations are not taking the bait and fueling the fire. Perhaps they will - but here is to hoping that that are starting to catch on.
