Related: About this forumDid I Just Hear Ted Cruz Say Nice Things About Bernie Sanders On Tweety's Show?.....
I was in the other room and half listening to the TV as I was involved with something else. But I thought I heard Ted Cruz say something nice about Bernie. What did he say and why did he say it?

(50,486 posts)you could almost see him rubbing his hands with glee while doing so. Repubs are loving him right now, Cruz isn't the only one saying nice things.
They are hoping to see a dysfunctional Dem primary so theirs doesn't look so bad, imo.

(36,063 posts)just because Cruz sees the world like that doesn't mean that's reality.
Look at how Cruz looks at the rest of reality.

(9,688 posts)that his judgement is way more often totally wrong (and obnoxious) than right?
So who the fuck cares what he thinks, or worse, would base their judgement on who to support for POTUS on what Cruz or any of the clown parade thinks or wants?
Dems are better than that. All Dems.

(9,688 posts)I just googled Hillary Clinton, Aids in Africa, because I saw a supporter mentioning it in a thread. Good works, good reviews. Then I remembered that George W. Bush got some praise for boosting support to fight Aids in Africa so added the name. Voila. I immediately got top-page hits about Hillary praising W. for the work. And why the hell not? Good work is good work, or rather somewhat better work is somewhat better work, and there's no reason for not acknowledging it. But, the statements can be spun, and spun they were, indeed, because politics is rarely classy. Brietbart, FOX, the usual cretins, coupled those remarks with criticisms of Obama, sensationalizing it and using it solely to attack, and in so doing deliberately missing the point - the point being "work to eliminate Aids in Africa and all over the planet is a good thing".
That's the way it goes in politics, esp. the sensationalized day to day politics on the MSM *and* the internet.
