This system as is cannot be changed merely by being active in a political party, or just voting, or

even canvassing or GOTV efforts. If you want to fix the country, you are going to have to organize, you are going to have to protest and march. And you can't divide up politics in small groups working independently. Any change in a system this closed and powerful requires a coalition of interests, which usually means the groups have to at some point realize change takes both numbers and pressure and repetition confronting those in power.

Why?

The Parties today are part of the system.

Have a nice evening. I was going to take a few days off from here and I see I should have. But as they say, curiosity killed the cat.

See you in the movies.

You are right though, and this has to start already

for the congressional seats. Should Bernie get elected we

cannot leave him with a lousy Senate or even House. And
let us not forget the state legislature or governors. We
are late with this already, but, what the heck, let's give it our best!

Enjoy a short vacation from DU! A garden or nature itself
does wonders for you!

And Bernie is asking us for continued support (if he wins) on all these changes through a unified grass-roots movement. A huge coalition working together for progressive change.

And if Hillary wins, we still need to do the same thing.

for the states and then work up from there since if you control the state you then can essentially control the districting of the districts for most states.

No matter how everything is being manipulated, I will not be silenced. I decided I have things to say. I realize it now more than ever.

People who want improvements in the system need to understand that, otherwise we are left with a
chaotic process, void of real and significant improvements for the people. Lot of energy wasted. Nothing positive accomplished.
