What about actions from President Obama? He has TIME LEFT to do ACTION....Where is He?

Any Dem President we elect in 2016 will need a year to get going and legislation for Today's Problems will be pushed off down the Road.

Why can't Obama Address these issues NOW when things are so dire rather than holding off for over Two Years to address what's hurting people NOW?

How long can "Black Lives Matter" Wait? We are already three and more years into the worst of the "Random Killings by Militarized Police Forces" searching out Black Victims to Target and Kill, if they can.

Why should anyone wait until "President 2016" to DEMAND ACTION?

Why is Obama and the U.S. Justice Department not going after these killings ...Under THEIR WATCH!

Why is "Black Lives Matter" not targeting WHAT CAN BE DONE NOW....and instead pushing it off onto Candidates who are Running for 2016 who have NO POWER? And whoever is Elected can't have Power until their Cabinet and the New House & Senate are up and Running...which can take Well Over a Year!

How long we as citizens to see these terrible Crimes be STOPPED? Can anyone answer this?

His measures from what I've read are very weak. And, its late in his Presidency that all this is occurring. So, either it's a result of policies put into place under Clinton and the selling of Military Hardware (left over from our wars like the MRAPS and other Arms) sold to our Police Departments that was going on under His Watch that he wasn't on top of (not like he didn't have alot of stuff on his plate distracting him) but, still it was going on. And where has anyone been addressing the Training of our Local Police Forces in how to deal with Terrorists in Israel and other Countries from NYC out throughout our country that's been going on for how long now contributing to what's going on with targeting our Black and POC youth?

Several of us posted during the Fergusen Killings about these "Military Hardward Extravaganza Shows" every year in CA where our Police Depts from all over the USA are going to look at the latest in "High Tech" Local Police Departments attending to purchase goods in addition to what our Govt. is selling them in our Military Hardware from our ME Wars. Very few here were interested. We posted links to our Police trained in Israel and other Countries including one of the police chiefs in Fergusen who had attended the training there. But, few were interested.

These are the issues that need to be brought to attention of Obama and the Justice Department. Why are Blacks & POC being treated as Terrorists!

And, I repeat that going after our Dem Presidential Candidates is helpful...HOW. It will be Years before they can take any action and we haven't even gotten to Primaries or Election of the time it takes for a new Administration to get into full power. Obama and Justice Department need to do ACTIONS NOW. This has gotten out of control

12. He already restricted sale of surplus military to police depts. I think you need

to do some more research and get updates on what's been happening since he appointed that task force who turned in their recommendations last spring. He has also been working through the mayors and encouraged programs with heavy community involvement - one of those in my neck of NC is called Cops and Barbers, and so far, seems very promising. I know this, because I get involved locally as well as the work I do with Dem GOTV.

Try checking into the facts before you make such heavy condemnations.

We participated in some of Reverend Barber's "Moral Monday" demonstrations and anything we can do to bring people together is always good to hear about.

I think all the Military Hardware and M-RAP's, Riot Gear, etc. should be returned to the Govt. to store in the Desert somewhere. Putting "restrictions on future sales" doesn't do anything when the stuff is already out there in huge quantities. And, what about the Military Training with emphasis on Terrorism in Israel and other countries. Have they put a stop to that?

BTW: The amount of Military equipment that NC & SC got was OTT. What if some groups like KKK get their hands on that stuff. It should have never been done.

Can't deal with the lack of any substantive reporting on Foreign Policy and ME issues plus better coverage of events here in US on Social Issues. Many (young and older)_are cutting the cable cord and seeking other resources. That probably will bring a change in the future, hopefully. But not soon enough, sadly.
