http://www.desmoinesregister.com/article/20120616/NEWS09/120616011/Ron-Paul-backers-triumphant-at-Iowa-GOP-convention?FrontpageRon Paul loyalists were triumphant at the Iowa GOP convention today, overcoming an attempt to knock very well-organized members of the liberty movement off the national convention rolls.
The movement has a huge responsibility when it goes to Tampa to show Iowa were a real movement and were not there to be ramble rousers, said Dubuque Republican Dave Cushman, a liberty activist and new GOP state central committee member.
After a two-day tug-of-war marked by bouts of angry shouting, Iowa Republicans elected 25 delegates to send to the national convention in Florida in late August.
By far, the majority will be Paul backers much to the disappointment of some Iowa Republicans who wanted to send a more mixed unity delegation to vote for all-but-certain nominee Mitt Romney.

I hope the RP delegates wreak havoc at the RNC convention.

Christo-fascist fundies for Ayn Rand loons.
It's like an old Bufferin commercial asks, Why trade a headache for an upset stomach?
Paul's Ayn Rand cultists are doing this in as many states as they can. The thing is, we don't want them controlling a political party any more than the religious kooks.
At least the freaking Dems are ecumenical, so to speak.

Is that the Paulites really could do a lot of damage to Mitt's campaign if they gain enough influence.
