What a candidate has to do to earn your vote, #BLM.
I am listening. I am not going to respond to any posts in this thread. I simply want to hear what you have to say about this. I am truly interested.

(5,417 posts)with so many many members, is nobody a member of blacklivesmatter? Maybe the OP doesn't use twitter, and would rather ask on this site?

(15,558 posts)Could it be the raging internecine battles on DU? Some DUers are making BLM the ralling cry of the campaign, yet if you ask them what needs to be done they throw up their arms and say "I dunno, go ask BLM".

(7,830 posts)That's exactly what we're getting.

(15,558 posts)How can Sanders "pass the test" if the rules aren't provided? People who truly want change, need to make the change they want clear. Some of us really want to help our candidate get it right. This "when he gets it we'll let him know" mind reader crap, aimed at one candidate, feels like a political ploy.

(7,830 posts)They just made our candidates look bad.
Guilt by association. To the UNINFORMED reading all the crap headlines.
See for yourself what the general public is reading....& please note there are NO POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS offered by the disrupters. ~

Clinton backers are loving this, because it wasn't their candidate made to look so bad.
(And It seems to me that if they really wanted to change things & believe the president has that power, they'd be protesting the Bi-racial president we elected, twice, in office at this very moment...)

(30,481 posts)is the only way for you to get answers to your question about said group? lol. This place has jumped the shark.

(17,438 posts)Contacted BLM and asked. I thought that perhaps there are members of that group here who could answer the questions too. Not just for me, but for all who are considering their votes.
I am listening. But, so far no one has been talking. If you know the answers to my question, I would love to hear it.
RiverLover
(7,830 posts)and I'm not seeing any answers as to HOW.
I'm grateful you asked this Q re, and really disappointed no one has answered yet. Maybe someone will.
Its the bottom line.
If they really want their "protests" to be meaningful & bring change, its rather important.

(17,438 posts)Answer to that question. I really want to know the answer. I want to know what our candidates have not done to address their concerns, and what they need to do from here on out. I have searched their site, made inquiry at their site, and made inquiry here.
All I get is deflection.
