Lawrence O'Donnell just blasted a big hole in Rmoney's li'l speech.

Draft dodgers really should not try to wax patriotic because it fails miserably. World War II vets held up a "torch" for freedom, etc, etc. The torch doesn't belong to America, but it's our responsibility to take it up, etc. etc. Bullshit, Rmoney. If the fucking torch ain't ours, who the hell does it belong to, Rmoney?!!! Go sit your tired ass down somewhere, please.

I watched both of my brothers, my cousins, my friends all go off to war while you sat your raggedy ass down in a nice French hotel drinking cool drinks and staying out of the sun. Yes, they carried guns and hand grenades while you pedaled religion. Then, you had the audacity to march FOR the Vietnam war and FOR the draft you dodged.

America is prejudiced, its true. But when they realize who they have running, see how the tables turn. See how money changes its color. Privilege will buy you a lot, but it won't buy you respect.

As Lawrence said, listen to it however many times, it STILL won't make sense.

In 2004, Kerry was converted in the public's eye to a wartime coward, while Dubya became a manly rancher and war hero.

Reagan was a touch cowboy hero, and Carter became a spineless wimp.

They'll try the same thing this time, and I won't be surprised if they succeed.

While WE know Dubya could have performed his military service better, at least he wore the uniform, did the training and was prepared. Reagan served in the military too, if I'm not mistaken. But Carter's service was notable.

Rmoney was a straight up punk. He can't even point to a family member who served. Get out your paint brushes and start making us a picture we can buy. Michelangelo couldn't put wings on this thing and make it fly. I think Rove simply believes he can steal this election for the repukes.

Mitt's thinking about the Olympics, which is another time when people feel patriotic and support their country. Mitt knows a little bit about the Olympics... In the Olympics they carry torches.

But, that's nothing like serving in the military and fighting for your country... and Veterans don't carry torches.

But a draft dodger wouldn't know that.

Did an excellent job last night. He pointed out that he respected those who dodged te draft were righteous - if tey didn't beat the war drum then - and tey don't beat the war drum now. And he also pointed out tat Romney men do not EVER serve in the military - to include Romney's five sons. BTW - It's not like Sasha or Malia can serve - not at their ages. So Romney looks like an ass if he mentions it. And President Obama had no war to participate in as a young man.

This draft dodging thing thing is a sore spot with me. I view someone of Romney's Era that dodge the draft, supported Vietnam, and beats the war drum now as someone with a radical wicked character flaw.

Brother? Cousin? Nephew? Uncle? Aunt? Niece? Sister?

Who is the closest person in his family to have served in the military?

"Defacto mouthpieces for conservative agitprop" poke holes in repukes lies every single day. You know why? Because everything repukes say is a lie, that's why other repukes like them so much. Proud to be dumb, corrupt liars will vote (R) in every election, they don't care enough to realize anything.

Lawrence's show is the only one on MSNBC that rarely, if ever, leaves me feeling discouraged. Lawrence always has this triumphant/mischievous glint in his eyes when he opens his program, and usually for good reason!
