doesn't it? However, I think it's easier to trash President Obama than make people like Romney. I think that this election may closely mirror 2004 at the minimum. Mudslinging and smearing President Obama will only get the Repubs so far. Nobody really seems to "like" Romney not even the Repubs and I doubt that will change much.

He'll win Indiana no problem, but NC is going to go right to the finish.

Indiana went teabaggery in 2010 and we got Pence on our ballot for Governor this year. *ugh*

I'd say that he has better of chance in Ohio, Florida, and Virginia (and probably NC) than Indiana this year.

I meant Romney would win Indiana easily, not Obama. Indiana was flukey and only happened because the northwest turned out huge.

NC and VA are very close to each other ... they share TV markets ... and NC has enough populated blue areas to push him over again.

VA, I have the honor of living a Metro ride away. There is this thing that people outside of the DelMarVa don't understand...VA is out of reach for the GOP. It's like PA, another state the GOP will throw money into because they need it to win but they have no real chance of winning...more than 40% of the population lives within 10-miles of DC and is solidly blue-purple...when polled on issues, it's bluer still. It's a college-educated politically-involved multicultural urban area filled with government workers and defense contractors.

There aren't enough biblethumpers in VA to outvote Fairfax, Arlington and Alexandria counties.

272 is the absolute basement for the President. He will carry OH, VA, and probably take FL as well.
