Stiglitz and now Krugman have high praise for Hillary's economic platform.

Two of the most significant liberal economists in the world, Nobel laureates both.

So, upon learning this, is the Hillary bashing chorus going to change its tune? We'll see. As Krugman deftly explained:

Many liberals have changed their views in response to new evidence. It’s an interesting experience; conservatives should try it some time.

Guess we'll find out soon enough which school of though the Hillary bashers belong to.

Google is your BFF:

So there was a lot more behind Hillary’s speech than I suspect most commentators realized. And for those trying to play gotcha by pointing out that some of what she said differed from ideas that prevailed when her husband was president, well, many liberals have changed their views in response to new evidence. It’s an interesting experience; conservatives should try it some time.

There's already an OP here with all of Krugman's comments. This OP is about whether or not Hillary bashers are open-minded enough to recognize their errors.

It's always preferable. And it tends to avoid the inevitable "Oh yeah? Sez who? Prove it!" retort. Not always, mind you, but more often than not.

two context-free sentences. I thought it might've been an oversight on your part--now I see you're just reveling in some puerile game.

The point is, liberals change their mind in the face of evidence. Conservatives don't.

on the IWR vote:

Now, you can understand why many political and media figures would prefer not to talk about any of this. Some of them, I suppose, may have been duped: may have fallen for the obvious lies, which doesn’t say much about their judgment. More, I suspect, were complicit: they realized that the official case for war was a pretext, but had their own reasons for wanting a war, or, alternatively, allowed themselves to be intimidated into going along.

Link deliberately omitted, because--you know--I didn't think it was important.

Go fish.
