Obama has a 9-point lead in the South?

(15,438 posts)But 50% is still not enough. For all that he's done, President Obama should be at least at 55% although Duhbya was teetering between 45-48% around this time during his re-election campaign, too.
I'm sure when we get closer to election day and more people are finally paying attention, Pres. Obama's poll numbers will go up and hopefully R'money's will go down (that last part is wishful thinking on my part since I darn well know they'll go up, too ).
I believe the 9%+ President Obama enjoys in the South is accurate. The majority of southerners don't like R'money, and they'll either not vote, vote for R'money while holding their noses shut, or vote for President Obama, so that 9% lead isn't implausible.
