I have really liked her since she took that seat. I think she could be great in 2016 or possibly as a VP candidate.

I remember many in NY wanted a more liberal choice when Patterson made the appointment..I think many perferred Carolyn Maloney (or is it Mahoney)....But Gillibrand is definitely more left of center than most, and is one of the best we have in the senate...

saying it is an economic tool and for every $1 in food stamps it generates $1.71 in the economy. Not many Democrats still talk in Keynesian terms like that.
