Obama leads big in PA, new poll finds

President Obama holds a 12% lead over Mitt Romney, in a new independent poll among registered voters. the last such poll had him up by 8% before this one, back in February.

Story

This is important. Romny needs to flip some of the states Obama won vs. McCain. Looks like PA won't be one of them.

Regardless of what anybody, even Ezra Klein, says, Romney and (likely) Republican hegemony in Congress for at least 2 years would be a total disaster for this country at this particular point in time. Hopefully, President Obama will get some more people he can actually work with and aren't completely committed to his total destruction for his second term.........maybe. But anybody thinking of voting for Romney or just not voting at all had better think twice IMHO.

They contacted more Democrats than Republicans, therefore the poll is skewed!!

You can base that on 2008, 2010, a blending of the previous years, or incorporate trends etc

Over the years I've found Rassmusen not that good. I tend to pay close attn to Quinipiac and Survey USA and glance at the Gallup daily tracking poll. Uknown polls like this I will tend to look at in conjunction with all the over recent available polls. Everyone has their preference.
