Americans to probably live in a theocratic dystopia. This, IMO, is going to be a very very sad/bad place to live. We've seen it happen to other countries, there is no reason to believe the US is immune to this, especially when millions upon millions of citizens choose to be ignorant.

Citizens United, it is certain the US we once knew will be a thing of the past. How SCOTUS allowed Citizen United is nothing short of criminal. It is stupid and corrupt, and does nothing to promote the betterment of the US, than to create a dystopia for millions of Americans.

The best years of the US are definitely gone. Any not seeing that really really have blinders on.

This confirms that the Koch Brothers run WI and they and their ilk will run the NEW USA, Inc. What a sad day for millions of Americans.

Americans are naive, ignorant and clueless as to what goes on in this country. As one example, many of the Miss America contestants could not even name the VP of the US. That, does not take a lot of talent or intellect.

Some days I'm really ready to say F it. Sometimes things have to totally crash before they can get better.

Kennedy, Scalia are getting old
As are Ginsburg and Bryer

Of the younger justices, GOP outnumber liberals by 3-2

If the 2012 winner picks 2-4 justices, you could see the balance of power determined for the next 20-30 years

did it buy advertisements and commercial time and it is the power of the ad that got Walker the win OR did they actually use the money to buy people's votes? Did they pay people to vote for Walker?

What I'm trying to get to is how has all this money influenced this election?

Is it just the power of advertising? Did they pay people money to vote for Walker? Was it the shennanigans that caused confusion and kept people at home (like the robo calls telling them they didn't have to vote if they signed the recall petitions).

We all saw what went down in Wisconsin. We saw the protests. We saw how the people got the recall petition to get to this recall. We saw the disgust in the people that got suckered in to voting for Walker in the first place - with his bait and switch campaign.

How could money influence those people that did all these things to vote against their best interests? I just don't get it? I don't get it?

they spend a fortune on ads (which is a sin) - because they work. So many young kids got hooked on cigarettes because ads work.

It is a character fault in human beings that ads work so well on us.
