A Barrett spokesman said the campaign was not conceding, citing ongoing voting in Milwaukee, Madison

Multiple news organizations have called the Wisconsin gubernatorial recall for incumbent Republican Scott Walker. But Democratic candidate Tom Barrett’s campaign is not conceding yet — citing crowded polling places where some voters have still been in line.

The Associated Press reports:

A Barrett spokesman said the campaign was not conceding, citing ongoing voting in Milwaukee, Madison and Racine.

“We feel very confident when those come in, Tom Barrett is going to win,” Phil Walzak said.

It's no skin off them to wait a few more hours. But the numbers don't support that assertion.

Well, that's one why to look at it.

So, maybe tons of democratic votes are still out there.

Also there were over 200,000 absentee ballots - probably some of those haven't been counted yet either.

I say there could still be a few hundred thousand votes in his favor once everything is said and done. Although, given all the last minute registrations, it could take weeks or months before everything is counted. Only time can tell.
