2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumIs Hillary claiming to be more Liberal than Bernie Sanders?
I don't know how else to interpret her words here:
Clinton assured a crowd at a Dartmouth College cookout this weekend, including some Sanders supporters donning campaign gear, that she is the most progressive candidate in the 2016 race. I take a backseat to no one when you look at my record in standing up and fighting for progressive values, Clinton said. Although the prohibitive favorite never mentioned Sanders by name, its clear her campaign has taken notice of Sanders recent surge.

(18,115 posts)Or anyone. Everyone in fact. It's kind of hilarious. She takes a backseat to no one, she hops up in the passenger side and rides where ever the true leaders are driving, at best.

In my house she certainly does take a back seat. I want a POTUS who is truly for the people, one who will never sell out to corporations. If you accept millions from corps during the election, you'll owe favors. We've seen it over and over. We cannot take any more of the corporatists.

So is she saying she's also a fringe extremist, or that he's not really a fringe extremist, or that being a fringe extremist isn't a bad thing?
So much doublespeak.
Makes pleny o'sense to me!
Evolving more and more every week. May even start wearing a Bernie costume one day.

(12,504 posts)This site has some really good info on all voting records, the bill number a synopsis, what they sponsored or what they co sponsored, the results and pass or fail. http://votesmart.org/officials
And while off topic on this thread, here is an interesting bill she sponsored regarding immigration while she was in the Senate http://votesmart.org/bill/3745/11566/55463/state-criminal-alien-assistance-program-amendment
The Senate rejected the bill.
