Obama has set a high bar for the presidency

Obama does some things very well. He is willing to answer any question. He is authentic. He sees people as people, not as a stepping stone. He is a visionary. He is calm. Do any of the candidates from both parties have all of these qualities? I don't think so. Some have some of them. Some of the republicans have none of them. Can any candidate this time around equal Pres. Obama? Maybe at some point, but not right now.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz replacing Howard Dean as DNC chair was probably one of his worst moves though!

Obama needed inside help and muscle. I also understand Geithner. It was about business. Wasserman Schultz is a Clintonite (as are some of the others). Maybe he did it for Hillary or unity. But she needs to go.

Mind you, I agree with you. I think our President is one of the finest orators I have ever had the pleasure of hearing.

We just have slight differences economically and militarily and for me, that adds extra weight to the statements and speeches I have heard Bernie give over the years. Not wavering, not stammering, just the truth, in your face. Deal with it.

In my eyes this guy is half George Bailey and half Frank Serpico. I think America could use that about now.

have since I got to the point of supporting him for his first run.

I like his process, too.

Thoughtful and deliberate.

He is a great president, and he has done a lot for this country, and the people who live here. His accomplishments are many, and anyone that tries to portray him as a "do nothing president", a "corporate lackey" or any other BS, is not dealing with reality. The facts are there, and history will confirm what a great president he has been.
