Wonder if it's covered under comp. Uh, no, they have an exception for riot, war, insurrection and terrorism.

(14,177 posts)But, I think you will be okay. I haven't seen conservatives go batshitcrazy over Bernie yet, in other forums where they hang out. Weirdly I haven't seen them hating on Hillary too much either. Maybe they are distracted by their precious being removed from court houses and State Capitols.

(21,046 posts)Back in the 90s I had a bunch of stickers on my car I called Greenieweenie. I had one about Ann Richards that was written on.
I had a darwin fish and somebody tried to rip it off my trunk lid. They managed to pull the legs off. So I am not optimistic.
It's a new car too.

(14,177 posts)it's just weird that Republicans haven't come out of the woodwork yet to attack Bernie.

(707 posts)I am a born and raised Oklahoman who has by default always voted R. Please don't run me off of here to quick please. I find myself at 39 unable to work due to injures I sustained haze gray and underway in the U.S. Navy needless to say this last year my life has been turned upside down. I have been lurking here for several years honestly it started as amusement. I mean how can anyone honestly think like that about _______ fill in the blank. I found myself reading my Face Book feed of late saying the same thing about a myriad of topics ( I have a lot of R friends to say the least). So that lead me on the road to figuring out what do I really think as opposed to what I am expected to think. I'm hoping to get the chance to share more with you all about me as this journey progresses but to the topic at hand and why I am posting here.
I have read through many a candidate's website and FB feed trying to find out who I support, even took some online tests. What I found was Bernie was my match for the things that matter to me like taking care of Veterans which is my #1 thing. So in my typical hardheaded nature I will go to bat for him against the grain here at home in Oklahoma which will make me an odd duck among friends and family. I will warn everyone ahead of time I'm not always PC but I never mean any offense and if I cause one let me know so I can learn from it. So Mr. Sanders you have my vote and support (I am registering as a D next week due to moving in the last year I have to re register anyway).
D.U. You have changed this mans way of thinking and if you can get me trust me there are more just like me out there.

(707 posts)It was hard trying to be concise in my first post when I have so much I want to share about my journey to get where I am at. I'm not sure if I am a hard core left of center person but I do know I do not have the hate in my heart that is flowing in the Republican ranks nowadays with no end in sight. So here I am humble about what I thought I knew and ready for a fresh perspective.

(206,072 posts)People end up voting against their own interests simply because they only vote party (though the party has left them behind) or they don't take the time to learn what a candidate really stands for. Kudos to you for getting informed! and welcome to DU!
