Days After Charleston Massacre Ted Cruz Cracks Jokes

Just days after Dylann Roof opened fire in one of our country’s first African American churches, killing nine people, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) cracked few gun control jokes in Iowa.

Cruz has done this sort of thing before, so this isn’t new.

“You know the great thing about the state of Iowa is, I’m pretty sure you all define gun control the same way we do in Texas — hitting what you aim at,” Cruz said at a town hall meeting Friday in Red Oak, according to the Huffington Post.

That’s exactly what Dylann Roof did with precision when he slaughtered nine people attending Bible study.
