I expect he's completely done with running for election.

I honestly didn't think he still lived in Vermont, but I'm probably wrong about that.

I live across the country from Vermont, so I haven't a clue who might be a reasonable candidate for the U.S. Senate there.

But at this point it is really counting the chickens before the eggs are hatched to be even thinking about who'd replace him in the senate. One thing at a time.
