North Carolina Poll: Obama And Romney Effectively Tied

A new poll shows that North Carolina is still very much up for grabs, with President Barack Obama and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney in a dead heat in the Tar Heel State.

The poll, conducted by SurveyUSA on behalf of WRAL-TV in Raleigh, Romney earns the support of 45 percent of likely voers, while Obama trails with 44 percent support. That’s well within the poll’s margin of error of 4.4 percent ...

Most polls have shown Obama or Romney up by around 1-3 points, NC is a tossup state and it will probably be the closest of the Tossup states unless we manage to win IN again (which amazingly is actually possible, RAS showed Obama down there by only 6, and it's Ras so it's probably more like 3 or so)

He may end up losing by a nose, but the flip side is the Republicans have to throw in more money which could mean we keep Virginia. I'd be happy if we won one of those two.
