I can't see Toomey winning that race by double digits when Sestak came within a point or two of him in 2010

Smart, ethical, tough, not monied ...

But, having good people in government isnt what people are doing on election day.

Not sure younger or enthusiastic is the magic formula either, this is pa ...

Toomey is a smamy pos, but has stayed totally off the radar, which is "good" for him given his actual positions on things.

The less people know about him the better for him.

It probably doesnt matter who runs against him now that he weaseled in.

It's a little discouraging to see Pat Toomey so far in front though.

Corbett was down pretty big at this point, and he lost pretty big.

The gap will close once Sestak starts running actively, but given the current overall political environment Toomey is a fairly prohibitive favorite.

I hate the smarmy POS with a passion, but he is the incumbent in a state that is comfortable with letter republicans do their thing as long as they don't' make waves, and Toomey knows it, you NEVER hear about the guy. I like Sestak a LOT, he is what you want in the senate clearly. But, unless the overall political tides turn hard against republicans, he is facing a tough battle.

Toomey also is one of the most bought and paid for senators by big money you can get, he will be REALLY well funded.

the overall swing in the senate isn't happening and TOOMEY isn't losing by more than 2 or 3 points if he does, much less double digits.
