7. Out of all the potential Democratic candidates- which one is going to

1)run for Governor in 2018 against Hogan-R or
2)run for the US Senate in 2018 when Cardin-D decides to step down.
I could see Sarbanes being the front runner for the 2016 MD US Senate Race. Sarbanes represents the 3rd Congressional District of MD(Baltimore Metro Area) which was held by Sarbanes father,Mikulski,and Cardin. If Sarbanes runs for the US Senate- Cardin's nephew can run for the 3rd Congressional District and run for the US Senate in 2024 when Ben Cardin decides to retire.
If O'Malley were to run for the US Senate in 2016- Sarbanes will wait until 2024 when Ben Cardin Decides to retire. O'Malley ends up becoming POTUS in 2025- a likely Special Election taking place in 2026- MD will have a Democratic Governor- Stephanie Rawlings Blake who appoints a caretaker and then runs for the seat in 2026 herself.

I see Harris(MD-1) being the Republican nominee.
Sarbanes(MD-3),Edwards(MD-4),Delaney(MD-6) and/or Van Hollen(MD-8) seeking the Democratic nomination - Edwards being the Democratic nominee.

MD Democrats have to win Mikulski's open US Senate Seat in 2016,win Cardin's open US Senate Seat in 2018,and unseat Governor Hogan in 2018. Donna Edwards becomes the frontrunner for Mikulski's US Senate Seat in 2016, Sarbanes becomes the front runner for Cardin's US Senate Seat in 2018, and Delaney/Rawlings Blake will be the Democratic nominee for 2018 MD Governors Race.
Van Hollen remains in the US House to become House Minority Leader then Speaker of House.

15. Stephanie Rawlings Blake and Heather Mizuer should get elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016/2018.

Both are in there mid 40's and will serve at least 5 terms. Rawlings Blake will be the 1st black US Señator from MD, Mizuer will be the first LBGTA US Senator from MD. One replaces Mikulski, the other replaces Cardin in 2018 when he is likely to retire.

Van Hollen is the clear front runner in 2016 MD US Senate Race- He is an excellent fundraiser,he is progressive enough to win the Democratic Primary and moderate enough to win the November General Election. Van Hollen fits the role of Paul Sarbanes and Ben Cardin.
