http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/02/26/russ-feingold-_n_6761946.htmlThe progressive Wisconsin Democrat was wiped out of the Senate in the tea party wave of 2010, but since then, many supporters have been keeping their fingers crossed that he'd run again -- in a presidential election year likely to be more favorable to Democrats.
Multiple sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity told HuffPost that in recent months, Feingold has talked to Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D) and Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wis.), among others. ...
A source close to Feingold confirmed that the former senator has been having conversations with a number of supporters, but refused to comment further on his plans. "After Russ steps down from the State Department in March," the source said, "there will of course be a transition period before any decision is announced. The enthusiasm expressed for Russ over the past week has been truly incredible."
No, he couldn't. He wouldn't take office until January 2017.

Second,he has to get the YDEMS engaged before the end of Spring Semester, that is the key to winning the Northern Wisconsin. Every News or Media outlet is owned by or controlled by some Neo-Con interest, which means boots on the ground.

(613 posts)Feingold was WI Junior US Señator from 1993-2011, Kohl- WI Senior US Señator left in 2013 was succeeded by Baldwin. If Feingold runs and defeats Johnson in a rematch, He becomes WI Junior US Señator in 2017. To become WI Senior US Señator, Baldwin has to lose re-election in 2018 to Johnson,Ryan,or Duffy, or Baldwin needs to retire and run for President in 2024, Feingold just needs to win re-election in 2022.
