Idaho lawmaker asks if woman can swallow camera for gynecological exam before medical abortion

Today's "REPUBLICANS ARE CRAZY IGNORANT PEOPLE" episode is from Idaho.

Idaho lawmaker asks if woman can swallow camera for gynecological exam before medical abortion

BOISE, Idaho — An Idaho lawmaker received a brief lesson on female anatomy after asking if a woman can swallow a small camera for doctors to conduct a remote gynecological exam.

The question Monday from Republican Rep. Vito Barbieri came as the House State Affairs Committee heard nearly three hours of testimony on a bill that would ban doctors from prescribing abortion-inducing medication through telemedicine.

Dr. Julie Madsen was testifying in opposition to the bill when Barbieri asked the question. Madsen replied that would be impossible because swallowed pills do not end up in the vagina.

The committee approved the bill 13-4 on a party-line vote. Barbieri, who sits on the board of a crisis pregnancy center in northern Idaho, voted in favor of the legislation.

among men, there are plenty of men, (mostly white, mostly Republican-leaning) who do NOT know what makes up the female human anatomy. They just do their thing for 15-20 minutes, and expect a baby 9 months later, sort of like putting a cake in the oven.

Ronald Reagan became president. the USSR almost went bankrupts and everybody cheered Reagan for firing people and making stupid deals with Saddam. And someone somewhere became a hero for breaking international law, AIDS came around, and President Reagan ignored it for 6 years because.. the gays.

Then GHW Bush, who did nothing at all, but start a war to regain control of mideast oil fields, and find out check-out lines used scanners in grocery stores.

Then a few years of sanity under Clinton who likes to play with young adult women, according to Republican sources. Prosperity and peace happened, but everybody was worried about a blue dress.

Then a total idiot became president, G W Bush, and the world came close to the levels of depravity that Germany and Japan brought us, but this time it all came from DC.

Then some black guy got elected, and Republicans freaked out, and then that black guy got re-elected, and Republicans went nuts.

Then, people decided education was too expensive, and caring for old and sick was too expensive, and screw the roads and bridges and mass transit, and screw unions, too, and don't raise the minimum wage, either. And make sure old white men always control all women's bodies forever.

Whatever it meant, in a nation of 290 million.

He ignored AIDS, he ignored the fall of the Berlin wall, he ignored almost everything. His VP could not spell and we have never heard from that VP again.

He DID bring back Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc. etc. and he got those damn mid-east oil fields back for Exxon to profit from.

His real nemissis was a crazy guy named Ross Perot, a crazy rich man who gave the election of 92 to Clinton, a wise liberal Democratic man from the South, who fixed just about everything except he liked young adult women who would... blue dress, whatever... that sort of ruined it in 2000 for Gore, the sane one who should have been president, but for the blue dress ... oh wait, Gore got more votes than the stupid son, but no matter, the Supreme Court fixed that election after it happened.

So we had 8 years of stupid, and then this black guy from Chicago got elected, and Republicans went off the deep end with their heroine, Sarah.

A person this stupid is writing laws that affect others -- especially women?
Did this person ever graduate elementary school?
Does this legislator have any basic knowledge of anatomy or biology?
Perhaps it is his anatomy that is to blame -- his head, containing whatever may be a brain is up in his rectum!

I think there are several states that have Republican governors and legislatures where this idea of free education for children is about to be defeated.

You have been following the news about this for the last few years, right.

Convincing parents that their child would be better off not learing facts, not learning to think logically, or rationally, and to follow scriptural dictates from 3000 year old Biblican texts.

Well, that is what Republicans are all about.

Send me his name.

I'm thinking of starting a daily thread of the most stupid things Republicans do every day.

More than one person should do this, not just me. Just post the most stupid ideas and words of Republicans you find in your local press.

Of course, there will be many duplicates...... some people can freeze duplicates.

There will be many many many duplicates, because so so many Republicans are stupid every day when they open their mouths.

Earlier today:

"Barbieri also enjoys an avocational interest in gynecology, obstetrics, and gastro-enterology.[3] "

Latest update:

"On February 23, 2015, during testimony from Dr. Julie Madsen, Barbieri learned that if a woman swallows a pill, it will not end up in her vagina.[3] [4]

Although not confirmed, it is believed that Barbieri has never taken a biology class in his life since he recently asked a physician if women can swallow a camera that will perform a gynecologic exam. It's believed that Barberi was disheartened to learn that women cannot magically expel items they eat out of their vaginas."
