"Snake Oil Economics"

Giving all the breaks to the extremely wealthy and, by some magic, everyone else benefits. They used to call it "Trickle-Down Economics", but after the better part of 40 years of this failed experiment, I give you "Snake Oil Economics".

I wonder if the 'powers that be' at the time reprimanded him in private for that statement. It strikes me as kind of odd that a Bush would go against the grain like that.

It was really unfair to call trickle-down "Voodoo Economics" ...

.... because every now and then you could hear a story about how voodoo actually worked.
